Welcome to RecipeHero! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RecipeHero mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by RecipeHero ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

RecipeHero is a recipe management and meal planning application that allows users to:

• Save and organize recipes from various sources
• Create and manage meal plans
• Generate shopping lists based on recipes and meal plans
• Share meal plans with family members
• Access recipes and meal plans across multiple devices

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). 7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform illegal acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail," "chain letter," "spam," or any other similar solicitation
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate RecipeHero, our employees, another user, or any other person or entity
• To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service

8. Subscription and Payment Terms

8.1 Free and Premium Features

RecipeHero offers both free and premium features. Premium features may require a subscription fee.

8.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You will be charged through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

8.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

8.4 Refunds

Refund policies are governed by the respective app store policies (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.

9.2 Recipe Information

Recipes and nutritional information provided through the Service are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any recipe or nutritional information.

9.3 Health and Dietary Considerations

You are responsible for ensuring that recipes and meal plans are suitable for your dietary needs, allergies, and health conditions. Always consult with healthcare professionals for dietary advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall RecipeHero, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RecipeHero and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees).

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede any prior agreements.
